By choosing to play on mc.daenen.ca, you agree to follow all of the following rules. Players are responsible for their account security and are responsible for all actions taken on their accounts. Players found breaking any of these rules can expect a warning, suspension of chat privilages, or removal of access to the server depending on the severity of the offense.
1. Player Actions
- a) Do not ever grief another player's builds.
- b) Do not ever steal another player's items.
- c) Do not intentionally kill other players.
- d) Do not attempt to get revenge on another player for breaking the rules.
- e) Jokes, pranks, trolling is all fine in moderation. As long as you are not setting back progress of another player, and the other player did not forbid you from doing so, harmless jokes are ok. This will always be on a case-by-case basis when players report issues, no guarantees here.
- f) Do not disrupt AFK players.
2. Cheating
- a) Do not x-ray for ores, biomes, caves, structures, etc.
- b) Do not use any movement cheats. (Speed hacks, flying hacks, climbing hacks, moving while in menus, etc.)
- c) Do not use any combat cheats. (Aimbots, bow predictions, kill-aura, etc.)
- d) Do not use any visual cheats that would reveal information that is meant to be obscured. (ESP of any kind)
- e) Do not use any building cheats. (Fast place, fast break, auto build/break, etc.)
- f) Do not accept any help in any way from people you know are cheating.
3. Exploits
- a) You may only duplicate the following items: Ignited TNT, Rail, Powered Rail, Detector Rail, Activator Rail.
- b) Any exploits that tamper with the world economy are not allowed. Please ask if you are not sure.
- c) Any exploits that break any of the other rules are not allowed.
- d) Exploits that remove permanent blocks are allowed.
4. Server and Player Health
- a) Do not build any machines that will cause massive lag to the server for any period of time. These machines will be deleted with no guarantee of getting the items back.
- b) Do not use any glitches or exploits that disconnect players from the server.
- c) Do not use any glitches or exploits that cause any visual or audible discomfort for other players.
5. Client Modifications
Remember, the only officially supported client is the vanilla one. Use modifications at your own risk!
List of allowed client modifications:
- Schematic/Blueprint mods (mods that provide a visual aid on where to place specific blocks while building)
- Lighting mods (mods that change the lighting of the game like fullbright)
- Shaders
- FPS optimizations
- Waypoint mods (mods that let you save positions as waypoints to be displayed back in numerous ways)
- Minimap mods and map mods
- Freecam mods (mods that allow you to freely move the camera around without interacting with the world)
- Informational mods (mods that add vanilla information onto your HUD)
Clients like Lunar Client and Badlion Client can be used as long as all other rules are followed. There is no guarantee these clients will always be safe. Some mods might get temporarily or permanently disabled for gameplay integrity purposes. Any mods not listed here should not be used as there is no guarantee you will not be banned.
- a) Do not use any client modifications that break any of the other rules.
6. Macros
- a) Auto-clickers are allowed.
- b) Do not use any form of movement macros.
- c) Do not use macros that automatically complete tasks for you.
7. Economy
- a) Do not intentionally disrupt the economy.
- b) Respect the shopping district. If you decide to expand it, match the design language of the already existing infrastructure. Do not build onto the roads.
- c) Attempt to participate where possible. You will not be banned for not participating, but do not be surprised if you are banned for intentionally giving away items that are being sold in the shopping district.
8. Use Common Sense
- a) Do not try to get around any of these rules.
- b) Always act in good faith.
These rules can change at any time. You can be banned for reasons not listed above. You will not be given proof on the reasons of your ban. If your ban was falsely applied, it will automatically be removed.
